Tektron

The Tektron is a boss that appears in Star Fox 2. It appears only in the Hard and Expert difficulty levels, being one of four possible bosses to be randomly chosen by Andross to attack the Star Fox team.

The Tektron is fast and nimble. Its attack pattern begins by firing a single laser cannon very rapidly before compressing itself into a diamond-shaped box. It will then spin up and zip around the battlefield erratically, occasionally smashing into the player.

When at the brink of destruction, there is a high chance the Tektron will flee the battlefield if not finished off quickly. The Tektron will regain all of its health if allowed to do so.
