I think we should rename this article "G-Diffusion." Correct me if I'm wrong, since I've never played Command, but I don't think the system has actually ever been called "gravity diffusion" in the games, and I had assumed that the G didn't refer to gravity specifically, but rather G forces. Now, it's true that the G in "G force" stands for gravity, but that's not because it's a measure of just gravity, but rather accelerative forces in general measured using Earth's gravity as a unit. My understanding was that G-diffusion worked similarly to the inertial dampeners you see in a lot of sci-fi series, which are designed minimize the effect of intense G-forces on a pilot (which, while it wouldn't necessarily make the craft faster or more maneuverable, would be especially useful in something speedy like an Arwing to reduce the risk of the pilot's brain turning into jelly if they accelerate too quickly or make too sharp a turn).

Now, about the content of the article, I don't think I've ever seen G-diffusion referred to as either a power system or experimental, and I would expect that it's used more widely than just in Awrings and Wolfens; in fact, I had assumed that those green lights you can see on the stern of the Great Fox and the Cornerian battleships in Assault were G-diffuser systems. Also, it says that a fighter's G-diffusion systems require the pilot constant attention, but I've never seen anything to suggest that (other than the Arwings' G-diffusers needing to be adjusted upon flying close to a planet, but that's not really what I'd call constant attention). Any thoughts? I think this article needs some work, but I don't want to touch it unless there's a consensus.Jimbo-Jambo
Excuse my inapropriate user name, I'm from another Wiki, but I still love Star Fox.
Anyone think the blue fins on the Arwings and the red parts of the Wolfen's wings are the G-Diffusers?
That would explainwhy the backs of them light up on the Arwing in Command when you boost...
The G-diffusers use the Arwing's weight as a power boost to help the engine.Wolfgang the Shark 18:24, August 12, 2010 (UTC)

I looked at the Landmaster blueprints but what the heck does sm stand for?96.32.26.34 16:52, June 1, 2013 (UTC)
