Spore Pods are spiky flowers found only in Dragon Rock on Dinosaur Planet.
Appearance[]
They release deadly spores that can damage Fox if he's close enough. They are immune to all but the Ice Blaster attack. They are only active during the day, so it's best to get them at night, when they are vulnerable.
Spore Pods[]
Description:[]
- “Plants that resemble Bomb Spore Plants in appearance but have a nastier disposition”
- —Star Fox Adventures; Prima's Official Strategy Guide, pg 17
Attacks:[]
- “Fires multiple Spores into the air that follow Fox and explode upon impact”
- —Star Fox Adventures; Prima's Official Strategy Guide, pg 17
Tactics:[]
- “At night they are dormant, so Ice Blast and hit them with your Staff to shatter them. During the day, when they are active, moving too close to one will trigger its attack. If they get a shot off, avoid running away in a straight line. Instead, run in circles until the Spores dissipate. If you want to rake them on without an Ice Blaster, attack them in the exposed, fleshy pink section, as it's their only vulnerable spot.”
