Special Flags are special items that appear in Star Fox: Assault. There are five Special Flags in each Mission. To obtain them, a particular target has to be shot to reveal them, usually a specific enemy or area, after which they can be picked up. Collecting all 50 unlocks the Demon Sniper Rifle in Versus Mode.

Special flags first appear in NEW Rally X, relating to the fact that they are both made by Namco
