Snaptraps are enemies in Star Fox Zero. They only appear in the mission "Dangerous Skies".
Appearance[]
Snaptraps vaguely resemble the real-life Venus Flytraps. Their outer hides are blue. Inside their jaws lies a yellow orb-like organ that seems to serve as the monster's weak spot as well as a vital organ of sorts.
Behaviour[]
A Snaptrap does not move from the spot it spawns in. To attack, it opens its "jaws" wide and attempts to bite down on its prey, dealing damage on a hit. However, with their jaws open, Snaptraps can be hit with Laser fire. Some Snaptraps have items in their jaws to serve as bait.
Trivia[]
- The Snaptraps could likely have been inspired by the real-life Venus Flytrap, judging by their name and overall appearance.
