The Silver Aparoid is a "Special" Aparoid Fightercraft. They are only encountered within the tunnels of the Aparoid Homeworld. These were the last defense which prevented the Star Fox and Star Wolf Teams from reaching the Aparoid Queen. Star Wolf kept the units occupied by luring them away to allow Star Fox to complete their final mission. The survival of Wolf O'Donnell and his team was questionable in the Aparoid Invasion aftermath, but Fox was positive they would live to fight another day.
