Silver Aparoids are a special Aparoid Fightercraft. They are only encountered on the 10th and final Mission, within the last tunnels of the Aparoid Homeworld. These were the last line of defense which attempted to prevent the Star Fox and Star Wolf Teams from reaching the Aparoid Queen. Star Wolf kept the units occupied by luring them away to allow Star Fox to complete their final mission. The survival of Wolf and his team was questionable in the Aparoid Invasion aftermath, but Fox was positive they would live to fight another day.

Silver Aparoid are powerful and deadly, and it can take a large amount of firepower to destroy one of them. They are called silvers because of their silver armor. They are armed with a powerful plasma torpedo launcher and are lethal due to their overwhelming numbers. The Silver Aparoids are found only in the Homeworld Core last tunnel.
