Sardos (サルドス Sarudosu), also referred to as the Venomian Heavy Tank, was a reasonably powerful armored vehicle used to supplement the ground forces of Oikonny's army, (most notably, the Monkey Tank). It only appears in the first Mission in the Story Mode of Star Fox Assault.
Characteristics[]
The Sardos tank is larger and much more powerful than the Monkey Tank. They are light beige in color, and have a top and bottom half. The top half has the head and controls, as well as two gatling laser cannons and a missile launcher. The bottom half has more armor, but no weapons. It is slower than the Monkey Tank, but is supplemented by other vehicles.
History[]
The Sardos was manufactured and stationed on the base of Andrew Oikonny at the time of the Battle of Fortuna. The mechs were little more than a distraction for the new and improved Arwings of the Star Fox team, furthermore the events of the Aparoid Invasion saw the immediate pause of the Cornerian and Venomian conflict.
