The Sardes MK III DB ( サルデス MK III DB Sarudesu MK III DB), also referred to as the Venomian Heavy Assault Mech or the Monkey Death MK III DB, is a powerful combat mech that was supplementing other ground-based vehicles. About ten of these protected the gateway to the canyon where Oikonny's flagship was faced. It only appears in the first Mission of Star Fox Assault.

Characteristics

The Sardes MK III DB was very much similar to the Sardes MK III DG in most ways, but it is slate gray in color and it comes equipped with two plasma bolt cannons on both hands instead of gatling rifles and twin missile launchers on its shoulders. Just a few direct hits could easily clip your wings.

History

The Sardes MK III DB was manufactured and stationed on the base of Andrew Oikonny at the time of the Battle of Fortuna. The mechs were little more than a distraction for the new and improved Arwings of the Star Fox team. Furthermore, the events of the Aparoid Invasion saw the immediate pause of the Cornerian and Venomian conflict.
