Queen Clucktron is a robotic avian that acts as the boss of the Zoness stage in Star Fox Guard. Her name is a play on "cluck", which is the sound a chicken makes and "tron", often used to describe metallic characters.

Physical Appearance[]

Queen Clucktron is a giant robot constructed in an avian shape with blue eyes (which get redder through the rainbow as she takes damage) and a steel, orange beak. Queen Clucktron's head features feathers that stick straight up, making her to appear to have a mowhawk.

Combat[]

Queen Clucktron begins the battle by launching Chaos Class Abductrons that pull on the cameras, rendering them inert, though the cameras can be reverted to their active form if the Abductrons are drained of their stamina (shooting them, etc.). The boss can also summon normal Clucktrons try to steal the cameras, and can charge up a very strong laser that deals considerable damage to the tower and disrupt AegisCam cameras. Damaging the boss enough will decapitate the robot and destroying the body from the shoulders down, though it won't destroy her immediately, instead triggering the second phase.

After the body is destroyed, Queen Clucktron is irate and uses the wheels to race for the tower at once and attack. The only way to damage her during this phase is to shoot her eyes (which are red with anger) until the enemy shields gauge drains completely, which causes Queen Clucktron to explode, completing the third stage and unlocking the fourth stage on Fortuna.

Trivia[]

  • The Queen Clucktron is one of two bosses to have a victory fakeout in Star Fox Guard, the other being the Infernal Joker.
  • Slippy mentions right before the boss fight that the Queen Clucktron reminds him of Falco.
