The P.D.A. (Personal Digital Assistant) is an analytical, scanner device that assists Fox on his Dinosaur Planet expedition. The P.D.A. basically serves an identical tole to the Radar from other games, serving as Fox's first and primary item, as he never goes anywhere without it.
Appearance[]
It is located in the bottom left corner of the screen and is controlled with the Nintendo GameCube's D-pad. The second function can only be used if the Maps from the ThornTail Store have already been purchased. Peppy Hare will translate the maps directions while studying the records of history of the area for his World Atlas. The P.D.A. can be turned off with the C-Stick Inventory to no real advantage.
P.D.A Scanner functions[]
It features three functions as follows
- Fuel Cell compass (The arrow points to the nearest fuel cells and flashes red).
- Overworld map (Zoom in and out with D-pad top and bottom).
- Collectable Object or Character description (not likely to work on every single subject).

- “This handy device is a multipurpose tool. In map mode you can view the maps you've bought at ThornTail Store. Tapping left on the + Control Pad goes to the Fuel Cell location.”
