The Monkey Tank (サルタンク Sarutanku), also referred to as the Light Venomian Tank, is a small ground enemy in Star Fox: Assault. It is also considered an standard-issue tank in Oikonny's army. It only appears in the first Mission in the Story Mode of Star Fox Assault.
Characteristics[]
The Monkey Tank was simple yet effective. It was reasonably fast, with a central wheel and two treads for propulsion. It was slate gray in color, and the tank was armed with four gatling cannons.
History[]
The Monkey Tank was manufactured and stationed at the base of Andrew Oikonny sometime prior to and during the Battle of Fortuna. The tanks were little more than a distraction for the new and improved Arwings of the Star Fox team. Furthermore, the events of the Aparoid Invasion saw the immediate pause of the Cornerian and Venomian conflict.
