Monkey Buster AW

The Monkey Buster AW (サルバスターAW Sarubasutā AW) is the basic attack craft used by both Oikonny's army and Star Wolf's militia just prior to and during the Aparoid Invasion. It appears only in two Missions in the Story Mode of Star Fox Assault.

Characteristics[]

The Monkey Buster AW has an aerodynamic body with a dorsal wing and a ventral wing for maneuverability. It's very much below the Arwing in all aspects, but generally can be a mere nuisance. They make few attempts to follow you, unlike Venomian Interceptors. Their only weapon is a moderately powerful laser bolt cannon on the nose. It is easily distinguished by its light green, white and silver gray coloration. They are carried inside and deployed by Goliaths, Sasquatchers, and possibly the Venomian Carriers.

In-game[]

Mission 1: Fortuna[]

In space and on the ground, many squadrons of these ships are trying to stop your approach. They usually attack in groups of four or five and can be a little irritating. They often take potshots at you while you destroy the first of six Goliaths.

Mission 3: Sargasso Space Zone[]

Star Wolf's militia are seen flying these starfighters and they use them surprisingly well for a bunch of armed criminals.
