Description[]
Gallery[]
A blue-colored version of the Hal Bird from a prototype version of Star Fox 2. It is often found leading enemy squadrons.
Trivia[]
They bare some slight resemblance to the Viper fighters that would later appear in subsequent games such as Star Fox 64 and Star Fox Zero.
In an earlier version of Star Fox 2, there was also going to be a blue-colored variant of the Hal Bird, which likely indicates it to be the lead fighter of an enemy squadron comprised of these fighters. It would later be removed in the game's final release.
Comparable[]
- Viper, a similar looking enemy fighter also used by Andross' forces.
