Gradabug is the chief engineer of CloudRunner Fortress. He is in charge of manning the power generator room.

Appearance

Gradabug's tribe is not named in the game, however, the Nintendo Power Strategy Guide indicates that he is a member of the BoneHead tribe. If so then the other members of his tribe are most likely based on Pachycephalosaurus.

Biography

Plight of Sauria

Fox McCloud first meets Gradabug in the dungeon after he is captured and gets Krystal's Staff back by using the SharpClaw disguise Slippy gave him. There Gradabug gives Fox the key to the generator room. Gradabug also tells Fox where to find the Queen CloudRunner when General Scales captures her again. He also tells Fox that he must return the Spellstone to the Ocean Force Point Temple just before he heads for his Arwing to return to the planet's orbit.

Trivia

• Gradabug is one of the only two dinosaurs not belonging to any particular tribe, the other being Shabunga (the ShopKeeper). However, the Nintendo Power Strategy Guide indicates that he is a member of the BoneHead tribe. If so then the other members of his tribe are most likely based on Pachycephalosaurus.
  • In the original rendition, either Gradabug himself or another member of his tribe was to keep watch over a paralyzed General Scales after Krystal returned the SpellStone to the Desert Force Point temple to ensure he didn't cause any more trouble.
• The Star Fox Adventures strategy guide made by Prima however incorrectly labels him as one of the LightFoot tribe which he clearly is not.
