The Mirage Dragon is a boss in the game Star Fox 2. It is the only boss that may be faced on all three levels of difficulty in the game, and the only "Hunter"-type boss that will be faced on Normal difficulty.
The Mirage Dragon has perhaps the least defense of the Hunters in the game, but its attacks are fierce. It is capable of firing a high-energy beam cannon that will deal massive damage to the player. It may also attack by spewing blazing chunks of rock, or may simply ram the player. Its weak point is its head, where a sustained barrage of fire can down it quickly.
