The Destructor is a boss that appears in the original Star Fox. At the beginning of the fight, the three pods on top of the tank will lift off, revealing three plasma turrets underneath. Shoot at the pods when they tilt to face you to damage and destroy them while avoiding the plasma balls fired at you. Firing on the turrets can destroy them, but if their accompanying pod is still intact then they can be rebuilt. Once two pods are destroyed, the last one will attempt to ram you. When the pods are gone, shoot at the turrets; they will rotate so wait for the vulnerable side to face you. When two turrets are destroyed the Destructor will start launching missiles from its underside, though this isn't of much concern. Once the last turret is destroyed, the boss is defeated.
