Foxes

Foxes are a common species of omnivorous mammals belonging to the Canidae family, making them related to Dogs and Wolves. Foxes are small to medium-sized canids with fur color ranging from white (arctic foxes) over yellow (fennecs) to dark orange (red fox). Rarer cases also sport blue and black fur. Their main characteristic is a long and bushy tail which can be used for melee combat and is also a popular trophy when a fox is defeated in combat. They also possess a long narrow snout and pointy ears. In the Star Fox series, Foxes are anthromorphic like the title protagonist, who is the namesake Fox McCloud, along with his family and other characters seen below, making Foxes one of the most widley represented species in this series.
