- “Enemy Recon:
Keep your sights fixed on these bird-like ships and be ready to swerves or hover, because they'll swoop across your path to dump land mines in front of you.” - —

Doraru (ド・ラルー Do Rarū), also referred to as Bomber or De Larue, is an recurring enemy in the Star Fox series. It is a medium-sized, bird-shaped (or beetle-shaped) starfighter that was manufactured and utilized by the forces of Andross occupying the desert planet of Titania during the Lylat Wars.
Appearance[]
Bombers resemble red bird-like starfighters (not to be confused with Firebirds or Gores) in Star Fox 64. They are fairly large, so they can be spotted in the distance, well before they come close to the Landmaster. They often carry explosives before dropping them onto the battlefield and causing damage to nearby enemies.
In the game[]

Star Fox 64/64 3D[]
- “Medal Tips:
As usual, bombs will help you take out clusters of enemies in this mission. Destroying the lead ships in attacking squadrons with a charged laser bolt will take out the followers with a single shot. Also, if you destroy the lead robot on the right hillside with a bomb, it will sometimes cause a chain reaction with the other robots on the hill.” - —

Bombers were stationed on Titania during the Lylat Wars, when Fox McCloud drove the Landmaster in his search for Slippy Toad. The Bombers were spotted in advance by the avian ace pilot, Falco Lombardi, well before they came too close to make a surprise attack with their landmines.
Star Fox Command[]
The Bombers also make an return in Command, only they appear to be automated enemy drones manufactured and utilized by the Anglar army during their invasion of the Lylat System. These were also seen on Titania, much like the original models, and share similar behavior as well. This time, they carry a box full of guided missiles that they drop onto the ground and slowly hover about in the battlefield before regenerating a new box full of explosives.
