The Black Rose (ブラックローズ, Burakku Rōzu), a modified Wolfen, was Panther's personal starfighter, customised after Star Wolf's survival from the Aparoid Invasion. Its design and appearance somewhat resemble the Wolfen II used in the Lylat Wars. It was somewhat slower than the other Wolfen designs. Its main weapon was the Zapper, a slow-firing yet powerful weapon that discharges a blue electric ray able to vaporize almost any starfighter.
