The Atomic Ray-G was a modified version of the Atomic Ray used by the Anglar Army on Titania during the Anglar Blitz.

In Star Fox Command

The Atomic Ray-G is a version of the Atomic Ray that can operate above water, and is capable of flying. Like the Atomic Ray, the Atomic Ray-G fires missiles, and can only be damaged by shooting the tail. Unlike the Atomic Ray, the Atomic Ray-G cannot perform loops. Instead, it burrows under the surface and hides for several seconds before emerging again. The Atomic Ray-G will burrow underground, emerge and then burrow underground again two or three times in a row before emerging and flying around again. While it is flying around, the Atomic Ray-G's tail can be shot at to damage it. When destroyed, a Core is dropped.
